Day 3: Departure
Day 1: Arrival Nairobi - Samburu / Shaba National Reserve
Meet & Greet on arrival by Shomoolosho Safaris Airport Representatives.
Transfer to Wilson Airport for your morning flight to Samburu/Shaba Game Reserve, where you will be met on arrival by the lodge/camp’s representative. Thereafter, transfer to your lodge/camp in your safari 4×4 land-cruiser vehicle, with a short game viewing drive en route.
Enjoy a hot lunch, and later in the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing drive to introduce you to the wildlife in the area.
Dinner and overnight at your preferred safari lodge/camp – Full board basis.
Day 2: Full Day in Samburu / Shaba
On this day, enjoy your scheduled morning and afternoon game viewing drive or opt for a full-day safari with picnic boxes.
The Samburu region is renowned for its unique wildlife found only in this part of Kenya, including the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. It is also home to nearly 900 elephants and boasts abundant birdlife with over 450 recorded species.
Shaba National Reserve is particularly famous for its stunning landscapes and its connection to the book and film Born Free, as well as its appearance in Out of Africa and the reality show Survivor – Africa.
All meals and overnight at your preferred safari lodge/camp – Full board basis.
Day 3: Departure
Enjoy a hot breakfast at your lodge/camp.
Depart thereafter and transfer to your local airstrip for your morning flight back to Wilson Airport, Nairobi, where you will be met and transferred for lunch. Later, drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight.
