Day 1: Arrival Nairobi - Samburu / Shaba National Reserve
Meet & Greet on arrival by Shomoolosho Safaris Airport Representatives.
Transfer to Wilson Airport for your morning flight to Samburu/Shaba Game Reserve, where you will be met on arrival by the lodge/camp’s representative. Thereafter, transfer to your lodge/camp in your safari 4×4 land-cruiser vehicle, with a short game viewing drive en route.
Enjoy a hot lunch, and later in the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing drive to explore the reserve’s stunning landscapes and unique wildlife.
Dinner and overnight at your preferred safari lodge/camp – Full board basis.
Day 2: Full Day in Samburu / Shaba
On this day, enjoy your scheduled morning and afternoon game viewing drive or opt for a full-day safari with picnic boxes.
Samburu’s rugged wilderness is home to rare species found only north of the equator, such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. The reserve also boasts a population of nearly 900 elephants and over 450 species of birds.
Shaba National Reserve is famous for its dramatic scenery and was the setting for the book and film Born Free, as well as Out of Africa and the reality show Survivor – Africa.
All meals and overnight at your preferred safari lodge/camp – Full board basis.
Day 3: Samburu / Shaba - Masai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy a hot breakfast at your lodge/camp.
Depart thereafter and transfer to your local airstrip for your morning flight direct to the Masai Mara National Reserve, where you will be met on arrival by the lodge/camp’s representative.
Thereafter, transfer to your lodge/camp in your safari 4×4 land-cruiser vehicle, with a short game viewing drive en route.
Enjoy a hot lunch, and later in the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing drive to experience the incredible wildlife of the Mara.
Dinner and overnight at your preferred safari lodge/camp – Full board basis.
Day 4: Full Day in Masai Mara
On this day, enjoy your scheduled morning and afternoon game viewing drive or opt for a full-day safari with picnic boxes.
The Masai Mara National Reserve is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem, known for its abundant wildlife, high predator density, and breathtaking landscapes. Between June and October, the reserve hosts the Great Migration, where over 1.2 million wildebeest and thousands of zebras traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing lands.
All meals and overnight at your preferred safari lodge/camp – Full board basis.
Day 5: Departure
Enjoy a hot breakfast at your lodge/camp.
Depart thereafter and transfer to your local airstrip for your morning flight back to Wilson Airport, Nairobi, where you will be met and transferred for lunch. Later, drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight.
