Day 1: Arrival Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
Meet & Greet on arrival by Shomoolosho Safaris Airport Representatives.
Transfer to Wilson Airport for your morning flight to Amboseli National Park, where you will be met on arrival by the lodge/camp’s representative. Thereafter, transfer to your lodge/camp in your safari 4×4 land-cruiser vehicle, with a short game viewing drive en route.
Enjoy a hot lunch, and later in the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing drive to explore Amboseli’s wildlife and landscapes.
Dinner and overnight at your preferred safari lodge/camp – Full board basis.
Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli
On this day, enjoy your scheduled morning and afternoon game viewing drive or opt for a full-day safari with picnic boxes.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is one of Kenya’s most iconic parks, known for its large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and rich birdlife. The name “Amboseli” means “salty dust” in Maasai, reflecting the unique ecosystem that supports a variety of wildlife.

Day 3: Amboseli - Samburu/Shaba Game Reserve
Enjoy a hot breakfast at your lodge/camp.
Depart thereafter and transfer to your local airstrip for your morning flight (via Wilson Airport) to Samburu/Shaba Game Reserve, where you will be met on arrival by the lodge/camp’s representative.
Thereafter, transfer to your lodge/camp in your safari 4×4 land-cruiser vehicle, with a short game viewing drive en route.
Enjoy a hot lunch, and later in the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing drive to explore the wildlife-rich plains of Samburu.
Dinner and overnight at your preferred safari lodge/camp – Full board basis.
Day 4: Full Day in Samburu / Shaba
On this day, enjoy your scheduled morning and afternoon game viewing drive or opt for a full-day safari with picnic boxes.
The Samburu region is renowned for its rare wildlife species, including the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx, as well as a large population of elephants and over 450 bird species.
Shaba National Reserve is known for its scenic beauty and was featured in the book and film Born Free, as well as Out of Africa and the reality show Survivor – Africa.
All meals and overnight at your preferred safari lodge/camp – Full board basis.
Day 5: Departure
Enjoy a hot breakfast at your lodge/camp.
Depart thereafter and transfer to your local airstrip for your morning flight back to Wilson Airport, Nairobi, where you will be met and transferred for lunch. Later, drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight.
